Who writes
Content on caleris.online is written and edited by James Young, who is responsible for the content on behalf of the publisher, CHOPENKO s.r.o.. Every article carries a named byline and a publication date.
How we establish and source facts
- Product features, prices, refund and renewal terms are taken from the vendor’s own published pages. We record the date we checked them, and the vendor’s current information prevails if anything differs.
- Claims about protection quality rely on the published methods and results of independent test labs (such as AV-TEST, AV-Comparatives and SE Labs), not on marketing material.
- General security advice follows public guidance from bodies such as ENISA, CISA and the UK NCSC.
- We link to our sources at the end of each article.
- If we could not verify something, we either leave it out or say plainly that it is unverified. We do not claim to have tested products in a lab when we have not.
How the site is funded
The site is funded by affiliate commissions. When a reader buys a product after following a labelled partner link, the seller or its affiliate network pays CHOPENKO s.r.o. a commission. The reader pays the same price. We do not sell advertising space and we do not collect or sell reader data.
Every page with partner links shows a disclosure bar at the very top and a disclosure box directly under the headline, before any promotional content. Each partner button is labelled “Partner link”, and a short note under each one explains the commission.
What we refuse to do
- No fake testimonials. We do not publish invented “reader stories”, reviews or quotes.
- No invented ratings. We do not display star ratings or scores that we have not actually measured.
- No artificial urgency. No countdown timers, “only today” claims or fake stock warnings.
- No guaranteed-result claims. No security product can promise complete protection, and we will not say otherwise.
- No hidden advertising. Commercial content is always labelled.
Advertiser independence
Advertisers and affiliate networks do not write, edit, review or approve our articles before publication. A commission arrangement does not buy positive coverage. Our sponsored guides include the limitations of the product, the free alternatives and the renewal costs. If an advertiser asks us to change content, we will correct genuine factual errors and refuse anything else.
Corrections procedure
- Send the page address and the suspected error to info@caleris.online, with a source if you have one.
- We review every report and aim to respond within a few working days.
- If a statement is wrong, we correct it and update the page date. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article.
- If we decide no change is needed, we tell you why.
